Happy Labor Day Americans! It's been a crazy weekend full of biking and just hanging out with friends. And also late-night gaming sessions lol. But even more importantly — American football season is upon us.

As an avid San Francisco 49ers fan it has been a tough offseason. The injury-prone team couldn't seem to catch a break even in the preseason (20% of the team was injured at some point), we had some dude pretending to be a 49er wide receiver, and then the fricking OWNER of the Niners was caught by the FBI for prostitution in OHIO. OHIO. OF ALL PLACES.

That's not to say I am hopeful though. I think through it all we will have a decent year but we will most definitely not be winning the super bowl this year or getting anywhere near the NFC Championship game with the Seahawks and the LA Rams being around. God. We are so cooked.

But if there's anything that can fill the part of my heart that was cruelly and gruesomely torn out of my chest as a I watched the Niners get intercepted in overtime of the 2024 Super Bowl alone in my bedroom, it's going to be seeing the grit this team puts up this year. Kyle Shanahan will undoubtedly cook up some great plays for Brock Purdy, George Kittle will be back at some point, the defensive unit will be locked in with Nick Bosa and Dre Greenlaw coming back, and McCaffrey will be unlocked again as a dual threat WR/RB. This is our year!!!

If this isn't our year I think we should probably blow up the team. Anyway niner fans lmk in the anonymous subscriber news what you think about this upcoming season. Honestly I don't think anyone subscribed is a niner fan but ... that's fine.
