Happy Monday esteemed subscriber! I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween. For once in my life I was around for Halloween in New York and I got to see everyone roaming around in costumes and having fun. I even had a costume too!

This costume was the result of being somewhat stressed the entire week about finding a costume, going on Amazon, and somehow seeing the non-Pepe meme frog with next day shipping! But throughout the course of Halloween I learned two things: 1. that this frog was actually some type of anti-ICE symbol (which is fine and honestly good) and 2. it’s actually the JINRO SOJU ADVERTISING MASCOT.

So the first one I learned while I was a group ride! I’ve been seeing these Instagram posts from Ridgewood Rides for a while, and kept coming up with excuses on why not to ride with them (tired, don’t have time, schedule didn’t line up). Unfortunately for me my excuses ran out on Saturday morning so I got to join them for a fun ride through three cemeteries in Brooklyn. Definitely quite spooky vibes riding through cemeteries on Halloween but I think it was on point!

Also general thoughts on riding with other people since this was my first group ride ever: pretty fun! I got the chance to chat with people during the ride since we weren’t going too fast, and the best part was we ended at a brewery that had a BBQ truck popping up. Generally would recommend and I think I will go to more group rides in the future!

I learned the second thing when I went to esteemed subscriber Dane Gailitis’ place for a Halloween party! After walking in as the frog some people came up to me and asked me if I was the Jinro frog. I guess I was!

Maybe Halloween is fun! Just gotta be a little goofy and put on a fun costume and walk around and be open to interesting things happening I guess. Ah yes and speaking of walking around I did watch the marathon which happened to pass right in front of my building! So enjoy these photos as well. AND LAST THING VALKS WON THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP LETS GO KAITLYN CHEN!!!!!!
